About

The tulips planted in the Fall are blooming!  Join us for our second annual Hope Day celebration to view the tulip blooms in the Filippi Academic Hall Courtyard. There will be music, refreshments and a tie-dye t-shirt booth to promote mental health awareness (free shirts for the first 35 students!).

The Yellow Tulip Project is a youth-driven non-profit dedicated to stigma reduction, community building, and helping people know that there is help and hope out there. Mental illness affects over 450 million people worldwide and the message of Hope resonates across the political, religious, cultural economic spectrum.

We invite all SMC community members to come out to view the tulip blooms and attend the student driven program where people will share their struggles and successes. Please join us, all are welcome!
